Frigate Fiasco Tournament Rules (2024)

Rules

  1. T1 empire frigates only (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, and Minmatar; no navy or pirate frigates)
  2. 2v2 knockout format
  3. You do not choose your teammate – this will be drawn at random approximately one week prior to the tournament date. Make sure you have more than one fit ready
  4. You will be in a dedicated comms channel with your teammate during your rounds
  5. Maximum of T2 and Meta 4 mods only; no faction, deadspace, or abyssal mods permitted
  6. Polarized mods, abyssal drones, and augmented drones are also banned
  7. T2 and Faction ammo allowed (including drones)
  8. Only one ancillary rep of each type is permitted
  9. Ships and fits can be changed after each round
  10. No drugs or implants permitted
  11. 125km diameter ‘arena’ with microjump units – crossing the boundaries is punishable by death
  12. The are two warpins (0km and 10km); once landed, you cannot move, target, or launch drones until the signal is given. You may activate non-offensive modules
  13. 3 minute rounds
  14. Each ships is worth 100 points (200 points per team). Whichever team scores the most points by the end of the round wins (ie: kills more than the other team)
  15. If an equal number of ships on each team survives to round end, sudden death applies with inverted TiDi
  16. Final round will permit navy frigates – be prepared! This will be a best of three (ships and fits allowed to be changed between rounds)
